The world's oldest twins have celebrated their 100th birthday among a gathering of friends and family in the Belgian town of Spa.

The Guinness Book of World Records earlier had listed two French women, Raymonde and Lucienne, as the oldest twins.

But they had only reached 98 when they celebrated their birthdays this year. Later, a local French web site said they received a note from a man saying his twin aunts, born in 1910, were still alive and kicking.
