World Cup Football Complete Match Schedule 2010 South Africa
The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be held in South Africa. It is the 19th FIFA World Cup. It is scheduled to take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010.
The matches will be played at Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg (two venues), Nelspruit, Polokwane, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria, and Rustenburg.
The official mascot for the 2010 FIFA World Cup is Zakumi. It is an anthropomorphised leopard with green hair. The mascot’s colours reflect those of the host nation’s playing strip – yellow and green.
The match ball for the 2010 FIFA World Cup will be named the “Jabulani”, made by Adidas, which means “bringing joy to everyone” in isiZul.
There will be eight groups in FIFA World Cup 2010. Group A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France. Group B: Argentina, Nigeria, South Korea, Greece. Group C: England, United States, Algeria, Slovenia. Group E: Netherlands, Denmark, Japan, Cameroon. Group F: Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand, SlovakiaGroup G: Brazil North Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal. Group H: Spain, Switzerland, Honduras, Chile.
